CANON CR-55

Canon CR-55 is a compact small footprint cheque scanner designed for counter use. It scans 55 cheques per minute at 200 dpi, in black and white or greyscale. Maximum output resolution is 300 dpi, in colour 200 dpi.

CR-55 reads MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) fonts, has double feed detection independent of mixed check sizes, and can print endorsement information on the checks prior to scanning. Delivered with Canon software allowing scanning, file saving, viewing and other effort saving functions. Included Ranger Driver from Silver Bullet enables integration into workflow systems.

Recommended use:

CR-55 is the ideal counter cheque scanner. Although cheques in many EU countries are becoming obsolete, CR-55 can scan documents up to 106x228 mm, making it more versatile. For example, forms of about 1/3 of an A4 (100x210 mm) are used in many countries for different bank transactions, such as payments and money transfers.
