Fujitsu fi-5120C

The fi-5120C is the perfect desktop scanner for the small office as well as the large company who wants to introduce a cost-effective distributed document management system.

The 50 page straight path automatic document feeder includes ultrasonic multi-page detection, the first in this range of scanners. It prevents that two or more sheets for example glued or stapled together are scanned simultaneously, ensuring that the front and back images originate from the same sheet.

The speed is 25 A4 sheets per minute at 200 dpi, single or double sided, in black and white, greyscale or colour. Maximum resolution is 600 dpi and paper sizes ranging from A8 up to A4, including long documents (up to 863 mm) and embossed plastic cards can be scanned.

Operator selectable functions such as de-scewing, auto-cropping, colour drop out, selectable black background and more are included to increase the production efficiency. Dual interface, USB 2.0 and Ultra SCSI, guarantees simple connection to any common system.

To further increase efficiency an optional inkjet imprinter is available. It allows printing of a user defined string of characters on the scanned document to endorse that it has been scanned or for archiving reasons.

Working environment:

The fi-5120C is ideal for small to medium-sized offices and for decentralised archiving and workflow applications. Letters, invoices, delivery slips, patient accounts, business cards and even embossed plastic cards can all be captured without problems. In case a flatbed is requested for occasional scanning of thick objects the corresponding model is called fi-5220C.
