Fujitsu fi-5900C

Fujitsu's fi-5900C production scanner is developed to meet the highest industry demands of image quality, paper handling and throughput. It scans 100 sheets per minute in 200 or 300 dpi A4 portrait simplex or duplex, monochrome, greyscale or colour.

Beside most common features in this range fi-5900C has several unique ones, like oversized scan width and an active stacker (output tray). The oversized scan width reduces loss of information caused by cut corners outside the scanning width due to misaligned (scewed) documents fed. The active stacker is in its highest position when empty and lowers as it is filled up with scanned documents, preventing thin documents from curling and creating a mess.

The fi-5900C is also equipped with three individually controlled ultrasound detectors to prevent document multi-feeding, optional pre- or post imprinter, and Kofax VRS hardware module for outstanding image output quality and production performance.

Easy user replaceable consumables, easy cleaning access and excellent paper handling, including functions to prevent damage of documents or the scanner caused by clips and staples, further increases the production throughput by minimizing downtime.
